Duplantis clears World leading 6.03m in Rouen

Sweden's Armand Duplantis set a new World leading mark in the pole vault of 6.03m at the Perche Elite Tour (Pole Vault only) in Rouen, France on Saturday (6).

Renaud Lavillenie who was a world leader with 6.02m by then,  manage only 5.93m to settle in second place. American Christopher Nielsen also cleared 5.93m but placed third on a countback.

Reigning World champion Sam Kendricks settled in 4th place with a disappointing 5.83m clearance.

Holly Bradshaw of Great Brittain went over 4.85m setting the best mark in the World indoors this year. It was also the second-best performance of her career and her highest vault since 2012.

Iryna Zukh of Belarus cleared 4.62m to take second place while Canadian Alysha Newman was third with also 4.62m clearance.
