Great Brittain's Daniel Rowden clocked a huge 800m personal best time to highlight the 2020 Folksam Göteborg Grand Prix on Saturday (29).
The 22-year-old, Rowden won the men's 800m A section in a formidable personal best time and a Europen lead of 1:44.74. The Swedish record holder Andreas Kramer was second with 1:45.34 while Piers Copeland of Great Brittian was third (1:46.24).
There was also a high-quality men's 5000 race with Australian runners finishing first and second. Stewart McSweyn clocked his season's best time and a new meeting record of 13:09.83 for the win while his compatriot Matthew Ramsden was second in a new personal best time of 13:16.63. Sweden's Suldan Hassan took third place 13:18.01.
2019 Doha World Championships silver medalist Raevyn Rogers of the United States won the women's 800m in a season's best time of 2:01.24.
Melissa Courtney-Bryant took the women's 1500m with 4:05.07.
In the long jump Khaddi Sagnia (SWE) leaped wind-aided (+2.6m/s) 6.75m for the win. Sweden's top long jumper Thobias Nilsson Montler with was the winner in the men's contest with 8.11m.
