The Olympic 100m and 200m champion, Elaine Thompson-Herah, highlighted the Velocity Fest Meet #3 at Jamaica College in Kingston Saturday, July 25.
Competing for only her 3rd race this year, Thompson-Herah clocked a blistering 10.73 seconds to win the women's 100m. Her time however will not count as a new World lead because the wind was 3.0m/s, 1m/s above the allowed.
In the men's 100m contest, Julian Forte clocked 9.96 (w +2.1) beating Yohan Blake into second place (10.07).
