Three new American mid-distance records indoors were set at the 2020 Millrose Games in New York on Saturday.

The reigning World champion Donavan Brazier broke his own American indoor record by winning his first 800m at Millrose Games with a time of 1:44.22. Brazier's new US record is also the 5th fastest time indoors in history.

“When I saw the clock going 1:42, 1:43, I was like, oh, I have a chance,” Brazier said Saturday. “To get it by point-two seconds, there’s really not much room for error there.” Brazier said.
