Mahuchikh Set World Indoor U20 Record of 2.01m in Lviv

Ukranian Yaroslava Mahuchikh broke the World indoor U20 high jump record on her season’s debut at the Demyanyuk Memorial in Lviv on Saturday (19).

Mahuchikh who four months ago cleared 2.04m to take silver at World Championships in Doha cleared 2.01m on her third attempt to set a new World indoor U20 high jump record.

The 18-year-old Ukranian broke her own record by 2 centimeters and eclipsed the 2020 World indoor lead held by teammate Yuliya Levchenko at 2.00m.
