Six-time Olympic Champion Allyson Felix Selected For Doha World Championships

One of the most decorated femail athlete of all time Allyson Felix have been selected on the USA's track and field team for Doha World Athletics championships.

The 33-year-old Felix have been selected on the US track and field team for a record 9th consecutive time.

Just ten months ago Felix gave birth to her first child via emergency c-section. In July she returned to competition and finished 6th at the USA track and field outdoor championships in Des Moines, Iowa.

Last week Felix won 150m dash at Great North City Games and prevailed in the 400m at Kamila Skolimowska Memorial in Poland.

Eight defending global champions and thirteen Rio Olympic gold medalists will lead 141 strong USA track and field team for Doha World Athletics World championships which takes place from 27 September to 6 October.

Defending champions Tori Bowie, Kori Carter, Emma Coburn, Phyllis Francis, Justin Gatlin, Sam Kendricks, Brittney Reese, and Christian Taylor have been included in the USA's team.
