Olympic 800m Champion David Rudisha Survives Car Crash in Kenya

The 2-time Olympic champion and World record holder over 800m David Rudisha survived a car crash in Nyansiongo area on the Kijauri-Keroka Highway in Nyamira County.

Rudisha was driving his V8 engine Toyota Sunday morning when its tire burst near Keroka town, hitting an Ena Coach bus head on.

Reports indicate that he has been checked in hospital with minimal injuries.

"I am well and unhurt from this morning's accident. Thank you for your prayers and concern. And above all, I thank God for keeping everyone else involved safe. A special thank you to the other road users who rushed to the scene to help me out of the car after the incident!" Stated Rudisha.
