Results: 2019 Standard Chartered Dubai Marathon

Getaneh Molla of Ethiopia clocked an impressive course record and PB of 2:03:34 in a marathon debut while Ruth Chepngetich (2:17:08) and Worknesh Degefa (2:17:34) finished 1st and 2nd in the women's race and moved  to 3rd and 4th place in all-time list.

Molla’s winning time of 2:03:34 took 26 seconds off the course record that was set last year and puts him sixth on the world all-time list.

Montana State University and the Bobcats Athletic department announced a $1 million gift in support of the MSU track and field program in honor of former head coach Dale Kennedy this past Saturday. Olympic 800m champion Caster Semenya's appeal against a regulation restricting testosterone levels in female runners began on Monday - as the head of world athletics again defended the rule. South African Semenya, 28, is seeking to overturn the regulation at the Court of Arbitration for Sport (Cas). The case will be heard until Friday, with a verdict expected by 29 March.
