Julien Wanders shatters Mo Farah's European 10K Record

Switzerland's Julien Wanders broke Mo Farah's European 10K road record at the 2018 the City Surf Run 10K in Durban on Sunday, 14  October.

The 22-year-old Wanders, who finished 16 seconds behind the race winner Uganda's world 10,000m silver medallist Joshua Cheptegei, clocked 27:32 to and shaved 12 second from Farah's 8-year-old European record. The third pace took Kenya's Moses Koech with 27:46.

Meahwhile the women's race won Mercyline Chelangat of Kenya with 31 minutes and 33 seconds.
