• Lasitskene Clears 2.00m at Indoor Match in Belarus

The 2-time world outdoor champion Maria Lasitskene started her indoor season with a bang as she cleared 2.00m during the high jump competition held inside a shopping mall in Belarus capital Minsk on Saturday, December 23.
After clearing the 2.00m on her first attempt the Russian high jumper attempted a long standing Russian national record of 2.08m. Despite her intense concentration before each jump, Lasitskene failed on all three attempts.
By winning the high jump contest in Minsk, the 24-year-old Lasitskene stretched her unbeaten series to 27 competitions.
