Weekend's Top Road Races: Valencia, Toronto, Venice
Three exciting races will take place this Sunday (Oct. 22) in Valencia, Toronto and in Venice.
The top road race this weekend will be the Valencia Half Marathon (IAAF Gold Label Road Race) where men's and women's world records will be attempted. Joyciline Jepkosgei is going to attempt the women's half marathon world record of 1:04:52 while Abraham Cheroben will try to attack the men's record of 58:24.
Another big marathon will take place in Toronto (IAAF Gold Label Road Race) on Sunday with Kenya’s Dickson Chumba (2:04:32 PB) the winner of the 2015 Chicago and 2014 Tokyo marathons trying to get his first win on Canadian Soil.
The Venice marathon is another great marathon to follow as the men's and women's fields include several sub 2:10 and sub 2:30 respectively.
