Warholm upsets Olympic champion Clement for 400m hurdles world title

World Athletics Championships 2017 day 6: Norway's Karsten Warholm defeated Rio Olympics champion Kerron Clement to win the men's 400m hurdles gold. 

The 21-year-old Warholm crossed the line in  48.35sec beating Turkey's Yasmani Copello, Rio Olympics bronze medalist,  into second place b 0.07 seconds. USA's Kerron Clement took third place in 48.52 seconds.
 
“I'm world champion, that's crazy. A lot of hard work and dedication has got me here so thank you to my coach for getting me in a position to challenge for a world title.” said Warholm, who last month prevailed at the European U23 championships.
