Marquise Goodwin (8.45m) sets new long jump world lead at Guadeloupe Invitational

Marquise Goodwin (USA) jumped to a new world lead at the Guadeloupe Invitational, while world indoor champion Marquis Dendy took third at the 2016 Guadeloupe Invitational.

Olympic long jump finalist Marquise Goodwin from  leaped  (8.45m) 27-8¾  adding 12cm to the current world leading mark by Rushwal Samaai. 

Another american Mike Hartfield jumped 8.34m and set  new personal best and #3 mark in the world this year. 

Meanwhile, World Indoor Champion Marquis Dendy (USA) set his season's best of 8.19m to conclude the men's long jump podium at Guadeloupe Invitational.
