19-YO Abdalelah Haroun becomes first man to run 500m under 60 seconds

Qatar's Abdalelah Haroun set a new world's best time in 500m at the Globen Galan indoor meeting in Stockholm, (SWE) on Wedesday (17). 

Haroun won his heat in a new world's best time of 59.83 becoming the first man in history to run the distance below 60 seconds.

Last year the 19- year-old quarter miler shocked everyone after he showed up literally  from "nowhere" and ran a sensational Asian record of 45.39 seconds in 400m indoors at XL Galan meeting.
