IAAF chief stepps down over leaked doping cover-up email

A British deputy general secretary of the IAAF Nick Davies have stepped down after an email showing he was aware about doping cover-up among Russian athletes. 

A leaked email that was sent two years ago by Nick Davies suggests that he was aware about the IAAF covering up Russian dopers. In the email which was sent to Papa Massata Diack – the son of disgraced former IAAF president Lamine Diack, Davies discussed the best way to reveal possible Russian dopers without damaging the 2013 World Athletics Championships that took place one month later in Moscow.
