Bartoletta leaps 7.12m at USA champs
Tianna Bartoletta produced the top performance on the third day of the 2015 USA track and field outdoor championships in Eugene on Saturday afternoon.
On Friday night Tianna Bartoletta clocked an impressive 10.94 seconds to take 5th place in the women's 100m final.
David Verburg produced one of the biggest upsets of Saturday night's competition by defeating defending world champion LaShawn Merritt in the men's 400m final.Women's 400m was won by Allyson Felix clocking 50.19 with Natasha Hastings in second in 50.25 and Phyllis Francis third in 50.67. Video>>
Dawn Harper-Nelson beat the field in the women's 100m hurdles with a time of 12.55 seconds. Second place in the race took Keni Harrison 12.56, while third place took Sharika Nelvis 12.59, who clocked world leading 13.34 on Friday night in prelims. Video>>
World silver medalist Matthew Centrowitz cloking 51.5 seonds over the bell lap took the honors in the men's 1500m final with a time of 3:37.25. Robby Andrews, who in the home stretch managed to surge by 6 runners finished in second place with a time of 3:38.75 and leaving Olympic games silver medalist Leo Manzano in third.Video>>
