 World record holder in pole vault Renaud Lavillenie set new outdoor personal best of 6.05m after recovering from an shoulder injury on Saturday night at Eugene Diamond League.

The reigning Olympic champion Lavillenie managed to clear a massive 6.05m to set a new outdoor personal best and a new world lead.

Three weeks ago the 28-year-old Frenchman fell at at the finish line and injured his right shoulder, while anchoring his 4x100m team at French Club championships.
