Diamond League Starts This Week

This Friday on May 15 the first meeting of 2015 IAAF Diamond League series will take place in Qatar's capital Doha. There is nother Diamond league meet that will take place also this week on May 17 in Shanghai.

Like in previous seasons, there are 14 meetings in this seasons calendar with 32 events that are Diamond Race disciplines.  Each Diamond Race discipline events are distrinuted among the calendar 7 times. Top three fisnishes will earn points, however in the final Diamond League meet the points are doubled. Overall winner in each Diamond Race event will receive a prize of USD$40,000 and a Diamond League Trophy.

There is also bonus for each individual race with a purse of USD$8million.
