Iceland's Hinriksdottir Breaks European Junior Indoor 800m Record - 2:01.77

The 19-year-old Iceland's running sensation, Anita  Hinriksdottir, broke her own European 800m indoor record at the national championships on Sunday, february8. 

The European Junior and World Youth Champion,Hinriksdottir, ran an impressive time of 2:01.77 to improve her previous mark by 0.4 seconds.  Hinriksdottir is now ranked  #5 indoor in the world and # 4 in European indoor rankings. 

The Icelander is planning to contest at the next month's European Indoor championships in Prague.
