Bekele Wins JoongAng Seoul International in 2:07:43

The 31-year old,  Feyisa Bekele, of Ethiopia won the The annual JoongAng Seoul International Marathon on Sunday, November 9.

Bekele running for the first time JoongAng Seoul International Marathon won the race with a solid time of 2:07:43.

Chebet Evans Kiplagat of Kenya came in second with 2:07:46 while his compatriot Thomas Kiplagat Rono concluded the podium with 2:07:52. 

The pre race favorite and the three time winner for the past three years at the oongAng Seoul International Marathon, James Kipsang Kwambai of Kenya, finished the race ninth with a time of 2:11:31.

The winner Bekele, cashed in $50,000 USD for the win while second and third place finishers went home with prize of $30,000usd and $15,000usd respectively. 

Total of 14,800 runners took part at the Sunday's Seoul International Marathon.
