Justin Gatlin Aims for Fast Time in Rome

The American Sprinter, Justin Gatlin,  who have set the fastest time in the 100m several times this wants to run even fastet at the upcoming meet today in Rome.

Gatlin have already broke 10.00 second barrier in 100m three times this year;  9.87 seconds in Beijing,  9.92 in Shanghai, and a blistering wind-aided 9.76 in the Prefontaine Classic last Saturday.

"My whole motto this year is just go," the 2004 Olympic gold medalist said. "I've got Rome now and I want to go even faster." Said the Olympic silver medallist at the pre meeting conference.

Last year in Rome Gatlin surprisingly defeated the "sprint king" Usain Bolt over 100m, will face a class of stars as  former world champ Kim Collins, Jamaicans Nesta Carter and Kemar Bailey Cole, and world indoor 60 champion Richard Kilty of Great Brittain. Bolt although will not compete at this years meeting as he is preparing to debut in Ostrava later this month.
