• Tarabin 88.84m - Sets New World Lead

The 2013 Summer Universiade winner in javelin throw, Dmitriy Tarabin, highlighted the Russian outdoor championships day 3 in Moscow on Wednesday (24). 

The 21 year old Russian in last throw landed the 800g heavy javelin at  88.84m setting a new personal best and a new world leading mark. It is also the best throw in the world since August 14, 2011. He was leading in the competition from first round (84.49). Only was the only javelin thrower that went over 80 meter mark on that day.

Another big mark came in the women's hammer throw where Olympic champion Tatyana Lysenko improved her world leading mark to 78.15m.
