Jeter 10.95 World Leade in Cayman islands

Carmeliat Jeter, the London Olympics 100m silver medallist, highlighted the Cayman Island Invitational by winning the women's 100m race in 10.95 seconds. Jeters winning time is a new world leade and fifth fastest time in her career. The second place took Barbara Pierre of the United States (11.02) and Kerron Stewar tof Jamaica took third in 11.10.

Usain Bolt took the men's 100m clocking 10.09, the same time as Bolt posted second place finisher  Bailey-Cole. In third came Kerron Stewart of Jamaica clocking11.10.

Men 110m Hurdles - Hansle Parchment (JAM) takes the Men's 110mH in 13.25 over Ryan Brathwaite (BAH) 13.26 and Shane Brathwaite 13.44

Men 200m - Lashawn Merritt (USA) takes the men's 200m in 20.26 over Alonso Edwards 20.60 and Jason Livermore (JAM) 20.65

Women 400m - Novlene Williams-Mills (JAM) takes the women's 400m in 50.73 over Moushaumi Robinson (USA) 51.19

Men 400m Hurdles - Eric Alejandro of Puerto Rico takes the men's 400m hurdles in 49.59 over Ansert Whyte (JAN) 50.19, Demar Murray and Shavan Barnes, both Jamaicans, 50.47 for joint 3rd

Women 800m - Mellissa Bishop (CAN) takes the women's 800m in 2:02.83

Men 1500m - Desean Turner of USA wins the men's 1500m in 3:52.26
