Women's Pole vault world record holder Yelena Isinbayeva will make her first appearance of the 2013 season at the Diamond League metting in Shanghai on May 18, announced Russian Atheltic Federation on their website (http://www.rusathletics.com/).

The 30-year-old Russian after failing to win gold at the London Olympics considered to put an end to her career, but later changed her plans announcing that she is going to prepare for the Moscow World Championships that will take place in August.

Isinbayeva, between 2003 and 2009 dominated the women's pole vault by setting wolrd indoor and outdoor  records 11 times. The 2-time world and 2-time olympic champion since 2009 has struggled to win any major championships. 

"She has been training hard. She wants to come back stronger than ever," told media Russian Athletics President Balakhnichyov.

Isinbayeva holds world outdoor record that stands at 5.06m which she achieved in 2009 Diamond League meeting in Zurich.
