• Bolt Opens Season With 46.78 in 400m
World record holder Usain Bolt opened his 2013 season at the Camperdown Track Classic on Saturday, Febuary (9) with a 400m race. Bolt won his heat with a solid time of 46.78 seconds but he looked a little tired after the race. From the gun Bolt tremendous speed dominated as he relaxed took quickly lead. Around 100m to go the sprinter found himself in a second position, but he manged to pull out extra strenght to win the race.
Yohan Blake and Waren Weir were in the next section of the mens 400m race. Blake, the Olympic 200m silver medalist, was leading 200-meters into the race.But it was Weir who switched into another and ended up winning wit 46.23. Weir took victory in the event overal with Blake finishing second with a time of 46.64.
