• Sanya Richards features Hungarian GP 2012

 The 2nd Istvan Gyulai Memorial Hungarian Grand Prix, will take place today on August 20th in Budapest. 
 Several Olympic champions and Olympic medalists will feature today's track and field competition.
 Hungarian Olympic champion Krisztian Pars will be a local star as he is going to compete in the hammer. I
In the women's 200m, Olympic 400m gold medallist Sanya Richards-Ross (USA) will take on Yulia Gushchina (RUS), also a 400m finalist in London.

Christian Taylor (USA), the Olympic triple jump champion, is also among competitors

Other Olympic medallists are Jason Richardson (USA) in the 110m hurdles, Timothy Kitum (KEN) in the 800m and Janay De Loach (USA) in the women's long jump, while women's 4x400m relay bronze medallist, Sherlika Williams (JAM) is the favourite in the women's 400m.

Hungarian star and record holder Marcell Deak Nagy will be hoping to do well in the 400m in front of a home crowd, while the high jump will see former world champion Yaroslav Rybakov (RUS) come up against former Olympic medallist Jaroslav Baba (CZE) and Olympic finalist Andriy Protsenko (UKR).

US sprinters Maurice Mitchell and Darvis Patton (silver in the relay in London) will fight for the top spot in the 200m.

Michelle Carter (USA), who came fifth in London, will be the firm favourite for the shot, while both the 3000m will have African favourites – Daniel Komen (KEN) and Edwin Soi (KEN) in the men's, Sylvia Kibet (KEN) and Meskerem Assefa (ETH) in the women's.
