18/Y/O Christopher Taylor Dominates 200m in Kingston

Jamaica's Christopher Taylor took a surprise 200m victory at Jamaica International Invitational (IAAF World Challenge) on Saturady, May 20.

The 18-Year-Old Taylor running from lane 7 led from start to finish as he dominated the men's 200m and took victory in 20.49 seconds beating American Lashawn Merritt (20.60) and Anaso Jobodwana of South Africa (20.70).

Jamaica's Elaine Thompson won the women's 100m dash for Jamaica in 11.06 seconds ahead of Kerron Stewart (11.25 ) and Natsha Morrison (11.26).

The Men's 100m won USA's Ronnie Baker in 10.00 seconds as Mike Rodgers (USA) (10.04) and Tracey Tyquendo (JAM) (10.14) finished seocnd and third respectively.

Shericka Jackson of Jamaica defeated Nigerias Blessing Okakbare in the women's 200m with a time of 22.55 seconds.
