Ajee Wilson and Drew Hunter Impress at Adidas Boost Boston Games Day 1

Americans Ajee Wilson and Drew Hunter highlighted first day of 2018 Adidas Boost Boston Games on Saturday, May 19.

Rain and wind did not stop the two-time World indoor championships silver medalist and 2017 London World championships bronze medalist, Ajee Wilson, to open her 2018 outdoor season with a stunning 1:59.27. Jamaica's Natoya Gole, the 2018 Commonwealth Games bronze medalist, finished in 2nd with 1:59.43.

In the men's mile, the 20-year-old Drew Hunter clocked 55.26 seconds over the bell lap to beat World class field with a time of 3:56.27. Great Britain's Chris O'Hare came in second in 3:57.17 asKenya's CharlesSimotwo finished in third place in 3:59.24. 

Canada's Brandon McBride took a convincing victory in the men's 800m race in 1:45.18 beating Poland's super-star Marcin Lewandowski in second (1:46.11).

Women's 1500m race won Ethiopia's Dawit Seyaum in 4:04.65.
