The 41-year-old Kenyan won the 2018 edition in a stunning 1 hour 6 minutes and 4 seconds beating legendary Gebrselassie's World masters M40 half mararhon record by 5 seconds.
In 2013, at age of 36, Kiptoo dominated Azkoitia-Azpeitia half mararhon with a winning time of 1 hour and 42 seconds. He will race next in two weeks at the Paris Marathon where he plans to set new masters record which stands at 2:07:38.
