Grant Holloway drops World Lead of 7.49 in 60m hurdles at Clemson Invitational

University of Florida sophomore Grant Holloway clocked a new World leading time over the 60m hurdles at the 2018 Clemson Indoor Invitational on Friday night.

The 2-time NCAA champion Holloway posted a blistering 7.49 seconds in the 60m hurdles final bettering World and Olympic champion Omar McLeod's World lead by 0.04 seconds. Holloway's 7.49 second performance also tied the third-fastest 60-meter hurdles time in collegiate history. Omar McLeod is the collegiate record holder at 7.45.

Last year as a Freshman Holloway became first man in NCAA Division I history to log top-2 finishes in both 110 hurdles and long jump at NCAA Outdoor Championships and to sweep indoor 60 hurdles and outdoor 110 hurdles NCAA titles.
